Since 1983, Ms. Shockney has worked at Johns Hopkins where she has held many distinguished positions including Administrative Director, Johns Hopkins Breast Center, and University Distinguished Service Associate Professor of Breast Cancer. She is a nationally recognized public speaker and has written multiple books and articles on the subject of breast cancer, and has testified before a U.S. Senate committee on the Women's Health and Cancer Rights Act.
