33% of employers currently include cell and gene therapies (CGTs) in their benefit plans, while 58% of non-adopters are planning to implement CGT strategies in the next 24 months.
92% of employers view providing CGT benefits as “the right thing to do.
Stop Loss (SL) coverage was the strongest predictor of CGT adoption. Organizations with confirmed SL coverage implement CGT benefits at significantly higher rates.
Knowledge levels, particularly around the understanding of CGTs, have the strongest association with adoption readiness.
Organizations with strong ethical frameworks demonstrate higher CGT adoption rates, with 70% of high-ethics organizations reporting strong CGT-value alignment, compared to 45% in organizations with weaker ethical structures.
Successful GLP-1 receptor agonist adoption correlates strongly with CGT adoption readiness suggesting that experience with novel therapy integration builds organizational capacity.
