Learnings & Insights on Healthcare Consumption and Benefits Design
June 12, 2025 • 12 PM - 1 PM (CT)

Hear key insights from benefits leaders across the country based on extensive research on how employees make healthcare decisions based on what they truly value: convenience, affordability, and trust in quality care—not just price. The research includes employee interviews, employer surveys, and expert insights on unpacking the key factors that influence healthcare choices today. We'll explore why price transparency without quality transparency falls short, how outdated cost structures and confusing benefits language are eroding trust, and why real affordability goes beyond simply offering coverage. You’ll also hear why leading purchasers believe competition—not consolidation—is the path forward for better outcomes and cost control. Join us to gain a deeper understanding of how to align your benefits strategy with employee expectations—and move from complexity to clarity.

Learning Objectives

  • Identify the core factors driving employee healthcare decisions, including how value is shaped by price, quality, convenience, and availability
  • Review traditional pricing models and transparency efforts, and understand the importance of quality data at the provider level
  • Develop strategies to simplify health benefits education

This is an Employer-only MBGH Member event. If you are not a member and are interested in this series, please contact Mark Pfleger.
