Imran Shaikh is a new physician joining Quincy Medical Group this March moving from the Chicagoland area. He is joined by his wife Hala Saad who just finished an Infectious Disease fellowship at UTSW (University of Texas Southwestern) in Dallas and has also joined Quincy Medical Group. He was born in Rock Island and had resided in the Midwest (Iowa, Missouri, and Illinois) his whole life. He did his training at St. Louis University in Internal Medicine and then proceeded to Rush University where he did a fellowship in Sleep Medicine and then a fellowship in Obesity Medicine. He has started working in Primary Care, Sleep Medicine, Obesity Medicine and sees his own patients at the hospital. His primary focus is preventative care and trying to keep patients out of the hospital and clinic through optimization of medical conditions, weight, sleep, mood disorders and overall lifestyle choices.
