This timely and important program will explore how employers are using cost and quality data on doctors and hospitals to: 1) reduce overall health benefit expenses; 2) improve the ability of employees to select the most cost effective and highest quality treatments, tests, drugs and providers; 3) lower medical claims costs: and 4) support employer development of narrow networks and reference-based pricing initiatives.
