Event Description

This half-day obesity forum will focus on an epidemic that impacts more than 4 out of 10 American adults and is the most prevalent chronic condition in the U.S. As a metabolic disease with genetic, environmental and psychological factors, obesity is associated with poorer mental health outcomes and reduced quality of life. The economic burden to employers is significant. Attending this session will provide a better understanding of the latest research, recommendations and insights into employer best practices. You’ll walk away with concrete ideas to mitigate costs associated with obesity and ways to devise a workplace strategy that fits the needs of your population.
